Not sewing dolls for a while

I won't be making any new dolls for a while. We are in the process of selling our house and almost all of my sewing room is in a storage unit! I miss my stuff. Anyway, I did keep out my sewing machine and some essentials, just enough to tuck away in a closet if we have a showing. I have decided to try my hand at quilting.
I have started another blog "My Quilting Journey", it's mostly a journal to myself. If anyone is interested in reading it the URL is myquiltingjourneyjournal.blogspot.com . If any of you are quilters I would love to hear from you - I need all the help I can get.
After we move and I can set up my sewing room again I will be making dolls, finishing dolls that I have already started. I have so many I want to make and I'll miss that for now. Hopefully we sell soon, so I can get back to my doll making!

Houston Doll Exhibit - Hoffman Challenge and Gypsy Challenge Winners

This is the last of the doll pictures that I have from Houston. I am hoping to share some of the quilt pictures that I took at a later date. The quilts were incredible. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Here are the pictures I took of the TAODA (Texas Association of Doll Artists) dolls and The Material Girls dolls. Unfortunately, I don't have close up pictures of all the dolls individually. The lighting there made it really difficult to get a good picture. All the dolls were fantastic. The Material Girls is a doll club located near Houston who receive and set-up and return all the dolls. They do a great job. This is my 3rd year of sending dolls and I've never had a problem. Enjoy!
