Time For Dolls - January Meeting

Last Sunday my doll club, Time For Dolls, had our January meeting. It was the 3rd anniversary of the start of our club! It is hard to believe that 3 years have gone by. Pam gave a great demo on painting and stamping on fabric. We are going to create our own fabric, either by painting or embellishing and then use that fabric for our challenge doll this year. More about that later after I start her. We also started our round robin. We start with a mannequin of our choosing, most people chose a paper mache type like this -
Then a name is chosen out of a box and that person will embellish the mannequin however they choose and return it the next meeting. Then names will be chosen again and the mannequin goes around until each person involved in the round robin has a chance to embellish it. We probably won't be finished until next January. It is going to be a lot of fun. The name I chose was Deborah's and here is a picture of her mannequin -
This is a picture of mine. I can't wait to see what everyone does to her. This is going to be a lot of fun.
